Sean Topping - Muhlenberg College

Sean ToppingIn his seven seasons at Muhlenberg College, Sean Topping has continued the success of a program already rich in the tradition of winning.  Topping led the 2008 squad to a (12-6-1) record and were ranked as high as # 6 in the Mid-Atlantic poll, before falling in the conference tournament.  Topping led the 2007 squad to a (12-5) record and were ranked as high as #3 in the NSCAA Mid-Atlantic poll, before falling in the first round of NCAA tournament.  It was Muhlenberg’s 13th NCAA appearance. 

In 2005, he led Muhlenberg to (13-6) winning the programs 5th Centennial Conference Championship and 12th NCAA tournament bid.  Muhlenberg was ranked as high as #13 in the NSCAA National rankings during 2005 season.  In 2004, he led the Mules to (9-7-2) record before falling in the Conference tournament. 

The 2003 season of (17-5-1) brought the mules their 4th Centennial Conference Championship where they advanced to the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament. 

Topping is a 1998 graduate from Muhlenberg College where he was a two-time All-Conference and All-Regional selection. During each of his four years, Muhlenberg Advanced to NCAA tournament play, highlighted by a trip to the NCAA Division III Final Four in 1995.

Tim O'Donohue - Stevens Institute of Technology

Tim O'DonohueIn 2009 Tim O'Donohue will be coming into his ninth season as head coach of the Stevens Institute of Technology men's soccer program. During his time at Stevens, O'Donohue has registered a record of 133-17-17. He has also led the Ducks to being one of the top Division III powerhouses in the country. In addition, Stevens has won six straight conference titles and appeared in the NCAA Tournament six years in a row and is one of just three schools in the country to be ranked in the NSCAA Top-25 at the end of each of the past six seasons.

The 2008 season was the best-ever for Stevens in many regards. The Ducks won the Empire 8 for the second time in as many seasons and advanced to the NCAA's. They defeated Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute in the first round and Rhode Island College in the second round. Stevens then hosted to Sectionals where they advanced in penalty kicks over Johns Hopkins and 2007 National Champion Middlebury College. The Ducks reached the DIII "Final Four," crushed Amherst College 4-1 in one of the national semifinal before falling to Messiah College in penalty kicks in the National Championship game. The Ducks finished with a 19-3-4 record and one of the most exciting postseason runs imagineable.

Rob Nydick - Arcadia University

Rob NydickRob Nydick begins his first season as Head Coach for the men's soccer program.   Nydick is the 6th head coach in the program’s history.  During 2008, Nydick served as first assistant coach at Division III Stevens Institute of Technology, in Hoboken, N.J., where he helped to guide the Ducks to an Empire 8 Conference Championship and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.  The Ducks, advancing to their first NCAA Championship match in the program’s history, faced Commonwealth Conference champion Messiah College, losing to the Falcons in Penalty Kicks.  

Before joining the Duck’s staff, Nydick served a two-year stint at Division I Rutgers University, Piscataway, N.J., where he assisted in all facets of the Scarlet Knight program, including instruction and development of goaltenders.

Prior to 2006, Nydick spent one season as an assistant coach at Division II East Stroudsburg University in East Stroudsburg, Pa.  While there, his responsibilities were similar to those at Rutgers

Nydick's ties with East Stroudsburg and its soccer team date as far back as his undergraduate days. Nydick transferred to ESU after playing for one year at North Carolina Wesleyan College. During his three seasons with the Warriors, Nydick was a member of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference championship team, which reached the NCAA Tournament.
